It took me 6 months while working to plan this wedding event. I did not hire a wedding planner, I hit the ground running after the engagement. Finding a place 6 months from the wedding date was not easy, especially when people book their reception site a year in advance. I had a couple reception site that fell through, and were unreasonably priced. Staying on budget was not easy.
I googled for wedding reception site in West Palm Beach, Florida. I knew I wanted the place to be near to my parents place, yet close enough from Fort Lauderdale and Miami. We wanted our family to make it to the event. Tevin and I purposely chose a date where it was harder for some people to make to the reception. We chose July 4th weekend. We’ve seen wedding from my family go upwards 500 people, that we did not want.
Googled popped up a reception in Boca Raton, a perfect location half way between the two cities. I called, came for the appointment and fell in love. I put down a deposit that same day. This site was by chance, unplanned for, it was lovely and reasonably priced. More on the reception site in the next blog.
In the meantime, my maid of Honor, Lisa and BFF, Esther had something planned.
They settled their differences on two separate events. Lisa decided to do the Bachelorette/Sleep over party and Esther did the Bridal Shower/Lunch.
Lisa’s creative mind lead us to, “Marie Antoinette.” Yes.. Fabulous idea I might add.
The location for the Bachelorette/Sleep over Party ? Exquisite! She surprised me with the location, it was the Luxury Presidential Penthouse Suite at Oceanfront Resort on Singer Island with ocean views on the 21st floor. The suite was 2,110 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. A patio that wrapped around the suite. Only 2 suites on the floor. Lisa, you sure made me feel beyond special. To prepare and put together something so thoughtful, and themed so well. I love you so much Lisa.

I felt like a princess. The views were spectacular! We had the intercostal and ocean view, we had both. The beach was only a step away.
Here we begin, a weekend to remember. May 26, 2016.

I brought two outfits. The white one for the Bachelorette party and the pink one for the Bridal Shower.
Lisa. Thank you. I love you.

Here is my custom made centerpiece put together from stuff I had at home.

Dessert from all the girls.

Ice Tea, Fruit punch, Pineapple water, and Lemonade? Oh wow!

Best balloons ever! “Rosey.”

Hong, you came and conquered the theme of the party! What a trooper.

I love my best friends. I’m so blessed to have these amazing women by my side. From Elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and my wonderful family. I love them.

Isn’t this just so cool how my sister added Tevins head?

We are definitely ready for the beach!!! In our Custom shirts made by Lala Queen!

Toes in the sand.

Loved. This is how we ended the Bachelorette party, with our feet in the sand.
Girlfriends are very important in every girls life. All sorts of emotions are shared between friends, and I’m glad to have the privilege to do that with them.
Thank you to my girls. You know who you are, to put aside your time, make the trip to attend this weekend event.
Yours Truly,
Rosey
