DIY Centerpiece

When I set up centerpieces, it usually takes a little imagination.  Using what was already around my house and what the place offers there I use that to my advantage. There are minor things you can buy that won’t break your bank, such as colored tissue papers, gift bags that were used once and of course your DIY stores such as Michaels, Joann fabrics, hobby lobby.. etc.

I also purchased little things from home goods, who knows what they have in store.  But here we have silk hydrangea flowers from Michaels, which I already had around the house, I used it for another event not too long ago.  The letter light box was purchased by my sister Lisa for 50% off at Michaels.  The tissue paper you can get from anywhere and the gift bags I reused from purchases I had in the past.

I used transparent ribbons to tie in the light fixture, give it a little flair, a whimsical look.

May it be for a baby shower, bridal shower, get together, a little effort goes a long way.  Don’t forget dessert and drinks for your guest.  My sister and I put this together.
