Home, Unemployed and Grateful

, ,

Like many of my colleagues and co-workers, we are mandated to stay home.  Especially for my profession as a dentist.  A high risk occupation, I would say 96%-100% of the time if I work on a positive patient, I can get the coronavirus.  It has been about two weeks staying home furloughed for the time being.  I applied for unemployment a week and a half ago and finally got my first unemployment check.  Who would’ve thought I would be unemployed.  I’ve stopped blogging for a long time, so many stories to blog about, but it wasn’t the time then.  From working over 40 hours a week to unemployed has been quite a change.  Now I have so much free time on my hands to catch up with blogging, my vision board, current events and so much more.  Maybe slowly filling in my blog on what’s been missing these past three years.

So what has my two weeks been like?  I lost count of how many times I subconsciously open up my facebook app to see the current events, scrolling down the recent postings from my friends and family, then sharing what I think relates most to me.  Then I get the rings from my WhatsApp messages of friends from high school under a group we call the Cr8tive Club sharing delicious home made ingredients, current events, what to do in this type of crises.  I actually learn so much new things from them.  Some are stay home moms, some are both, doctors who are home because of COVID19, fierce Navy captain who went back for her masters.  We are a pretty awesome group of girls.  I honestly am blessed to still have these high school friends spanning over 20 years.  So grateful for everything.  Faith, Family, friends, food and shelter.

Here I am hanging out with Coco, my little shorkie.  I make myself a cup of delicous Nespresso coffee every morning to start out the day.

To new beginnings on my blogging. It’s been over three years.   I’ll be posting some photography photos as my feature photo.  Yes, I have a lot of hobbies.  The photo above is of located at Woods Hole. Where the ferry docks to take the passengers over to Martha’s Vineyard.
